Introducing the exciting new and very unique BLUBAY 58T PC!

With many of the major catamaran production builders offering Motor Yacht Versions with Trawler Yacht styling it’s easy to see why these purposeful catamarans are beginning to attract the buyers. With marine diesel costs increasing and the cost of running a reasonably sized motor yacht are beginning to hurt he attraction of catamaran hulls are becoming more of a viable proposition.
Traditional Motor Yacht buyers always seem to feel that there is something missing, such as the lack of “Bling” and build quality in the standard trawler yachts on offer by various manufacturers. BLUBAY YACHTS backed by a unique pedigree of catamaran building expertise have finally come up with an alternative for those that are searching for something a little more special

Already on the drawing board and work started on hull number one for a lucky new owner the first size of the range to go into production at the new shipyard, decision on the first power catamaran was made for us as the client knew what size, space and layout that he wanted.

The size range will go from 48 ft, 58, and 68 ft in the Trawler Catamaran Range…...

The semi custom design will allow a choice of layouts, fabrics and interior fit out to suit all tastes and requirements from an owners layout to luxury charter options with crew quarters.

A sumptuous and extremely spacious flybridge area to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the view and recessed tender storage with even more space once the tender is launched. A forward facing bow chill out “balcony” area adds yet another area for entertaining accessed through the saloon. The saloon cockpit and balcony all being on the same level gives a huge feeling of extra space coupled with the headroom available.

Galley up and the relationship between the saloon and outside cockpit area offers easy living and dining options allowing the person doing the cooking is part of what’s going on. The saloon combines easily with the interior helm station allowing comfortable lounging space and keeping the captain and guests being all part of the action.

BLUBAY YACHTS have been around for a long time with the Designer and Naval Architect Jean Jacques Coste firmly at the helm and have many examples of the brand sailing the worlds oceans such as Rafoly, Black Swan Allures etc all in the Superyacht class.

Designed by Jean Jacques Coste these catamarans have shown what is possible to achieve in build quality, style and panache in a catamaran hull.

This mega catamaran can only be described in superlatives, as no expense has been spared to create not only one of the most beautiful and comfortable, but also the fastest superyacht in the world. "Allures" will be able to travel in excess of 35 knots rivaling any vessel at sea. Daggerboards can reduce her draft, providing access to shallow harbors, which would normally be denied to mega yachts of her size. Her designer, Jean-Jacques Costes, brings with him 30 years of big Multihull experience and his company, Blubay Yachts, also worked with Airbus industries on aeronautical engineering projects. The Blubay 100 is the largest, all-carbon structure ever built. Strain gauges constantly monitor loads, which can be observed at either the two flybridge helm stations, or the expansive interior navigation station. From her aramid rigging and carbon mast to her specially selected fine interior joiner work, this Blubay 100 will provide her owner with many seasons of cruising pleasure and will remain a landmark of catamaran engineering for many years to come.

Jean Jacques on a personal level felt that he wanted to design a yacht range that he himself would like to own without the need for a full-time crew, something that he could sail in comfort with his wife and family, which would be maximum of 68 feet in length or even smaller.
After working with Graham Stimson of WorldWide Catamarans on another project, the pair decided that there was room in the market for a smaller range of high-end luxury cruising catamarans. Time was right for JJ to resurrect the Blubay name to encompass this idea. Now Blubay Yachts Catamarans presents a range of superb high quality fast cruising catamarans.

Four new semi - custom production models are being created at 38ft, 48ft 58ft, 68ft, using the same design and construction methods as the Superyacht class all designed by the Master himself, Jean Jacques Coste. All of the designs now over 70ft are now produced under the BLUE COAST YACHTS label
If anyone can produce the Wow factor in any catamaran, design something that sails fast, oozes quality, offers plenty of space on board and still manage to look sexy combined with high-end luxury fit out Jean Jacques Coste and the Team at Blubay Yachts are the ones to do it.

Using a combination of only the best construction materials, such as carbon fibre, vinyl ester resin, lightweight interior fabrics and the latest developments in architectural naval design features, these catamarans are destined to be the most desirable examples on the planet,
If you a considering purchasing a new catamaran in this size range that you owe it to yourself to investigate the new Blubay Yachts range.
