42m Hull - Abandoned project Superyacht
42m Hull - Abandoned project Superyacht- 220.000€
Abandoned project Superyacht!
OK, this is not our usual line of sales, but an interesting project for someone with deep pockets.....
It started off as the Sister Ship to "Lady Suffolk" now renamed "Caroline Sea" and is now a steel hull currently sitting in the water.
The marine Architect and Designer Roel Degroot did a study for a wealthy Russian to complete the boat and did some designs on the Superyacht to complete it, but iIl health prevented the Guy from carrying on with the project, so sadly the hull has been abandoned.
It would be great if someone could pick up on this and finish the yacht as was intended, but more likely it would be an awesome Grand Designs Project an amazing blank canvas for a massive houseboat.
There are no Engines fitted and it is basically just a hull, so it would need towing where it will be worked on, but it would probably be possible to keep it where it is and there are ship building facilities nearby.
Roel de Groot would be more than happy to help with resurrecting this one, but more than likely it would make a lovely luxury home afloat.
Serious enquiries only please as this is what it is and is sold as seen "as is where is" in Lowestoft.
LENGTH: 42 METERS
BEAM 7.80 METERS
DRAFT 2.97 METERS
The main structure of the hull has been completed to deck level in steel, with engine bearers for twin diesels and fuel tanks are installed.
Plans were for a marine grade Aluminium Superstructure to complete as a superyacht, but would make a great home as it is after being fitted out.
Price: 220,000 (No offers)
